As part of the 2003 National Science Week, the Stratford upon Avon Astronomical Society proudly presents a free public astronomy event and star party...

"Jupiter, Saturn, The Moon and The Cosmos"

Description

An opportunity for members of the public (particularly young people) to meet and discuss astronomical topics in a very informal atmosphere. Weather depending, we will make the best possible use of the time for a "star party" to enable the public to observe the planets and other objects using telescopes belonging to the Society and members. Please dress warmly. Free entrance but groups, please pre-book.
